I had the SWEET blessing of photographing my sister in her element this week!
Rachel's a pediatric occupational therapist. When she's not taking classes to get more "certified", she's is spending her summer putting on day camps for her clients.
When she asked me to come take pictures I was flattered and excited to watch her with these ADORABLE kiddos.
This particular two week camp is for kids that have Cerebral Palsey. It really was so much fun!
My sister is VERY GOOD at what she does, and it's something I never get to witness.
This is her with a sweet baby girl.
This cute little one may never walk on his own, but he worked so hard at it with his therapist.
The kids had "messy time" while I was there. While most kids would LOVE playing in pudding, several of these kids have sensory problems which causes them to HATE the texture. It's great for them to work with things like pudding, and what kid doesn't love being messy? This stinker is the most adorable little toot in the world! He is FULL of personality. While he could easily be mistaken for Pig-Pen from Charlie Brown in these photos, he sure hated being messy.
Getting to see these kids giggle was so much fun for me. It's amazing to see how intentional their therapists are with them.
Thanks so much, Rach, for the opportunity to spend time with ya'll. It was so neat for me!
