Happy Birthday to the Man I Love Most!

Dad turns 54 today! Doesn't he look good?!

What an exciting thing! I really do thank God every time I think about my precious father.

My dad is so faithful to love the Lord and his family well. I am convinced that I know the love of Christ better because of the way that my dad has loved me.

On his birthday, I've decided to list some of the things that make my daddy the best in the business:

1. My dad is a GENIUS! He has the answer to questions about anything and EVERYTHING!

2. He's loyal. My dad represents stability and consistency. I'm so thankful and spoiled by the way he does this.

3. He's a blast. My dad is the king of "dad jokes". He keeps me laughing all the time.

4. He's Mr. Fix It. If it's broken or twisted or stuck...he'll make it work!

5. He has great taste - food, cars, vacations, etc. It's fun to recognize now how similar our likes and dislikes are.

6. The way he loves my mom!

7. He's a provider. My dad embodies "provider". He has provided through hard times and good times.

8. He forgives. My dad's love keeps no record of wrong.

9. He's a hard worker! Dad doesn't leave a job until it is completed, & he works his hiney off getting it done well.

10. He's SUPER optimistic. He's the least negative person you'll ever meet. I don't think I know anyone else who has such a positive/hopeful outlook on life.

11. He's a giver. Dad doesn't hold anything too tightly. He's so faithful to give.

12. I just can't say enough how faithful he is to love the Lord and his family well. I know Jesus better because of him.

I could go on an on all day about the things that I love about my dad, but for today I'll leave it at this.
