Family Photos

My family only manages to get a family photo if we're lucky once a year. It's pretty informal. Generally after our church's Christmas Eve service we get together in our nice Christmas outfits and smile in front of the fireplace. No one ever does anything with these photos. I think they sit on a hard drive or in a box somewhere without use.

This year we missed the Christmas Eve service, so no photos then...but have no fear. Tradition is important enough to my sister that we managed to make it happen a couple days after the holiday.

This time we were in less fancy attire, but nonetheless we snapped a few.

::At some other time over the holiday we snapped these while Ben was being Ben. The funny thing is, I think that Rachel and mom are genuinely responding to whatever he has them doing in both shots::

::Our Christmas Entertainment: Wii Fit!!! It was so much fun to hula hoop, yoga and table tilt, but even more fun to watch others. Particularly Grandma and Grandpa. We had lots of laughter in our home over this piece of aerobic equipment::

I hope your holidays were fabulous. It's almost sad that they end so quickly. As busy as it is leading up to Christmas it seems to pass so quickly.
