Into the Wild

What a great summer I've had!

No, seriously...you should probably be a little jealous. My summer's been fabulous!

I have gotten to travel, play and enjoy the people I love so much all while planning my one and only favorite sister's wedding! It's been outstanding.

The most recent summer adventure I endured was a glamorous backpacking trip in Buena Vista, CO.

Yeah, that's right, GLAMOROUS - 5 days and nights in the great outdoors.

Not just any days and nights, though. I'm talkin' "hiking, sweating, freezing, showerless, use leaves for hygiene in the Rockies" days and nights! It was incredible! Of course, I'm pretty sure I might think that having gallons of water sprayed up my nose would be incredible if it were done in Colorado. So my standards could be pretty low...

But they didn't have had to be on this trip. I could have been hangin' out in a dumpster with these ladies and still had an awesome time.

Point is...the trip was amazing. We could even make a movie out of it, it was so great.

And I've got photos to prove it.

From moon boots (apparently my hiking boots were a bit older than I remembered they were) to humpbacks, this trip was SICK!

...no, literally, I got altitude sickness - t.r.o.u.b.l.e!

So awesome. I'm definitely J.

Nice job Schmale. Both on being a part of that trip, and shooting it.

How hard core are y'all? Oh my goodness. It looks like you had an absolute blass.

Submit these to REI for advertising purposes....your photos are stinkin' awesome from this trip. A bunch of cute girls in the woods...it doesn't get any better than that!
