ACF Disciple Now 2010

Several weeks ago my friend Ian asked Julie and I to help him out at their church's Disciple Now. Ian is a FABULOUS Student Ministry Leader at Austin Christian Fellowship.The man can plan a youth event like no one I've ever met. I'm pretty sure he can plan any event like no one else, but youth ESPECIALLY.

It was so great. The theme of the weekend was Fame. Throughout the weekend they asked students who they were making famous - themselves or the Lord. The weekend was life changing for many of these teens.

To kick off the weekend, students were greeted with a red carpet like the stars. Jules and I snapped away like the paparazzi for the evening and had a blast doing it.

Before I show you pictures from the night, a side note: four years ago when Ian was an intern at ACF, I was a college leader at this same D-Now . That weekend was the only time Julie and I ever crossed paths in college. Who'd have thought we'd be such great friends so many years later. It made it really neat for us to shoot the event together.
