My super outdoorsy/granola/North Carolinan Claire is getting married in almost a month, which is terribly exciting. You might remember seeing her engagement photos this summer.
A couple weeks ago, I headed to Dallas to help host a couple fabulous showers for my Claire. It was a fun weekend with some of my favorite people in the world. We were super sad to miss Brookie (who currently resides in Thailand, but will be in the country for the wedding), but besides that everything went off without a hitch.
I tell you what. We are surprisingly always able to pull something together, even if we live in seperate parts of the world.
You'll notice from the decor that this was a camp themed shower. We each raided our stuff and gathered anything we could find that was "campy" to contribute. And I don't think we did too shabby.
Claire's FAVORITE is daisies in a brown paper sack! Pretty cute, huh?
Sarah's very talented cousin made these amazing cookies that matched Claire's save the date and the shower invitations perfectly.
Claire is known for having friends all over the country/world. It was fun to celebrate with some of them.
These are three of the six chick moms who were in tow. Can you identify who they belong to? It's amazing to me how much we resemble our moms.
She hated it.
Shower guests in front with Claire's decor.
Ding ding ding! You guessed it. That's the oh so talented Renee Claire Borne pictured with Claire Elise.
And check out Rhonda's new wheels!! We were all real excited about this.
After the shower we stopped by the hospital to visit Sarah's dad. You would never believe what great hospital guests we make! Ha! Just ask Mr. David.
And Claire's very favorite, chocolate chip cookie dough without the chocolate chips.

Its nice to see some familiar faces all in the same place at one time.
Have a great week!

OH Jess! I love them. I love you. I can't wait to see you in just 4 1/2 weeks! You really captured the weekend! Did I mention that I love you???
hey!
Long time no see/talk/etc. Just a random fact. I still love the wedding gift of the weathered hymn that you gave us.
We still keep it in our bedroom.
