How can I articulate how good God was to us this weekend?
I'm sure I can't.
Sunday, August 30, 2009 was the highly anticipated Schmale/Welch wedding extraordinaire, and it was definitely EXTRAORDINARY!!! Seriously.
There were so many moments this weekend that I looked around and saw my family (extended, immediate and new) and just before tears came to my eyes at the sweetness of having them all together, I'd catch the eye of my GORGEOUS sister, the bride, who was one step ahead of me.
Having the people you love all in one place to celebrate the Lord's faithfulness to provide and unite does something to you. It made this self-proclaimed "non-crier" nearly weep.
But her tears were beautiful. She looked stunning to say the least.
I'm more thankful than I can express to have Charlie Welch become my brother-in-law. God's goodness to bring him together with my very very best friend in the whole world was gracious to say the least. I think I can say that Rachel and Charlie are too good for each other, which makes them PERFECT together!
I love you both more than I can articulate.

gorgeous. when you said non-crier at the beginning and i thought you were referring to yourself, i laughed. then i realized you meant rachel. great pics. as always.
