The Wranglerettes are the fabulous drill team of my Alma Mater, good 'ol Friendswood High. These girls make Mighty Mustang football games look good!
I think they did a great job of preparing me for an Aggie half time. Though the Ags don't have a drill team, I'm pretty sure these ladies could give the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band a run for their trumpets.
Well, I might have mentioned before that my friend Ashley is the chief, big wig, GRAND MARSHAL of the beautiful dance crew this year. And she's perfect for it!
Well a couple weeks ago, Ash asked me to take some photos of she and her best friend for an ad in this year's football program.
So very early on a Saturday morning (which I felt awful for because these girls spend every week morning at practice SUPER early) they got all dolled up in their W-gall garb and we laughed A LOT while we shot these photos.
I had a blast, Silly Girls!!!! Thank you!

you have no idea how much it makes me smile to see drill team photos on a friday afternoon. takes me back to my own days of wearing those tights and tilted cowgirl hat out on the football field at halftime. i love the one of them holding their legs in the air. and the silly ones too!
