Some of my very favorite moments are the ones when you stop, look around and feel like everything is just right.
You know those? When you just feel satisfied in that second. It may not last long, but for that small moment it's as if the stars align and for a minute I feel like the Lord has literally kissed me on the cheek. I wish I could pause time in those moments.
So a few years ago, a couple friends of mine decided we would start noting those moments. In our "just right" seconds we pretend to click a quick snapshot of what's going on - as if to document in our memories the moments that make even the hard days worth it.
The weekend of June 12, I had a lot of those moments. When I spend time with these girls, I typically do.
June 12 my dearest Sarah changed her last name. She committed her life to a man that I'm so thankful for.
When you're as fortunate as I am to do life alongside such all-star people, these connections never get old. It's really cool to think that we've been praying for Evan for awhile now.
As we sat on the infamous teal couches back in college asking God to prepare us for the road ahead which would likely include being wives, we asked that he would prepare each of our husbands too. For Sarah, that was Evan - and God knew even then.
I couldn't be more thankful.
So here's to the weekend! Heads up...this post is ridiculously heavy on photos.
Night one was awesome. We took Sarah out on the town, but were shocked and excited to also hear my favorite Claire's gigantic announcement.

I'll explain these in a later post. For now, just appreciate these faces.

and of course two of my favorite sisters

Next up, Friday morning Bridal Brunch - held at this outstanding lake front home that was oh so adorable AND an incredible amount of laughter.

Gli amici dal tempo di Italia

...there were never such devoted sisters

Then of course...we got our nails did!

Now off to rehearsal and dinner. If you live in Denton, you understand the significance of this.

Apparently boots were the theme of the night.

...that, and pictures with Lauren.

In case you were wondering...this is the bride and groom.

One of my favorite parts of the night...when the existing six chick husbands toasted Evan...somewhat mockingly, but I know it was in love. They're secretly really thankful to have married into such a fabulous group of girls :)

I'm literally more blessed than words with the very best friends a girl could ask for...I mean it.

family.

Now...for the wedding day!!

The family Vierling means SO SO much to me. Aren't they hott?

That's all I got...for photos of the wedding day, visit Sarah's photographer's blog. They're fabulous!
Here's to snapshot moments...and being real thankful that this weekend I caught so many of them with a real camera.
CHEERS!

Jess, I couldn't agree more with you - that weekend was overflowing of moments feeling like all is right in the world. Looking through these photos made me smile so big that tears came to my eyes. I am so overwhelmed by how the Lord has blessed me with the gift of all of these people in my life. Thank you for making the effort capture so many of the "just right" moments for us so beautifully.
