Thirty-one

31 - It's so close to thirty...it might as well still be thirty, right?

I suppose we're at that point where birthday posts for my sweet sister, Rachel, should be sans age. Right?

Well I think I've decided to defy the "I don't tell my age" thing. Getting older, though difficult in some ways, is such a natural, healthy part of life. So much good comes from age.

So let's celebrate Rachel's THIRTY-FIRST birthday TODAY!

In honer of my dear old 'sis, I thought I'd post photos from her birthday celebration this past weekend.

The fam and some friends headed out to Junction to enjoy the river for a couple days. It was the perfect birthday celebration! We played on the river, tortured our dogs on the river, ate GREAT food - thanks to my outstanding brother in law (here's to always celebrating Rae's birthday with you, Char), and played some awesome games...which involved licking elbows, holding hands, singing opera, knee slappers and so much more.

I hope you feel celebrated today, sister. You deserve it. I am so very thankful for you, Rach. I'm not sure who I'd even be without you.
